ASU Game -

We have really enjoyed attending the ASU games this year. The Wolf Cub Football Teams were presented at half time. Christopher was very excited at the thought of getting to standing out on the field!

Galactic Hurricane Wins First Game of the Season!

Christopher had his first football game of the season last night and they won!!! He played most of the game on both offense and defense. We were so proud of him! He even got a couple of blocks that helped his team score. I have footage of one of his plays blocking and the team running in for a touchdown.

Tres and his crew have started on the house! Hopefully we will be done in the next six months if mother nature cooperates. Can't wait to watch Christopher and PaPa playing golf right behind the house.

Football season is here!!!!!

Football practice is in full swing! Christopher is having three practices per week right now and hopefully games will start in one month! His team's sponsor is Galactic Hurricane. I also had a nice surprise! An old high school alumni, Travis Woodruff, is assisting his team with practices. He is in the red shirt and hat in some of the pics.

Can't wait for games to start!!!! Go #82!!!!

My brother Ward Joseph and his wife Casey had their first baby this past week. Mom and Pops says everyone is doing well. She was born with a head full of black hair as you can see! Can't wait to see her!

Last night Chris and the boys were watching Tombstone. Apparently in true fashion spirit - Ty got dressed in his blue jeans, boots, and cowboy hat and got his ole pal Yeehaw to watch the movie! When I got home from work - Yeehaw was found to be "tied up" to the dining room chair! It looked like he had taken a bunch of old shoe strings and attempted to make a bridle out of them. :)

Happy 11th Birthday Christopher!!!!

Tomorrow, August 12th, Christopher will be 11 yrs old! With every passing day comes daily reminders that our little boy is maturing into a little man. This sweet little one arrived at Kristi's house last night. She is two weeks old and is Destany's baby sister. She is so tiny! :) It's been awhile since I have taken care of an infant......but I quickly got back in the groove. She may be staying with me some thru the week until she is old enough to attend daycare.

A Night Out

I enjoyed a night out with my old gang from NEA Clinic Cardiology. We met at Omar's for a Vytorin meeting. Dinner was delicious as always and I had a great time catching up with old friends. While I was gone, Chris took the boys to see the new 3D movie Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Kids Day!!!

Destany spent the day with me and the boys yesterday. We went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks at the $1 movie then headed to Target to see what we could buy in the toy section. The three of them were so good together! I just wish it wasn't so hot outside!

Update: Anastacia is with her Forever Family and Braden is now placed with his Aunt. It was hard for Kristi especially because she lost them both the same week. Anastacia loves her new home and Braden is back with his family so this made the transition a little easier to take. But with a little sadness came a ray of sunshine! Meet "Miss Destany" - she is so funny! I wish you could see her sing and dance! Kristi and I took her and the boys to the water park in Paragould today. They had so much fun! We have three little fishes on our hands! The funniest thing of all was listening to the three of them sing to the radio in the back seat!

Off to Granny and PaPa's

Just a note to say that Christopher is spending the week at Granny and PaPa's in Augusta. This is turning into a yearly summer tradition. Monday was eventful. They left in the morning to go explore I guess...but Mom says they got back in time to see Tiger win! Then left again to go "straighten out their golf swing like Tiger" at the club. I am sure he is having a great time but we miss him terribly already. He doesn't tend to talk to us much on the phone when he is there. Mom and I were just talking about much of a "Granny's boy" he was as a baby! Now he is definitely a "PaPa's boy". He truly loves spending his week with PaPa -----I'm sure making lifetime memories!

I wish I could say that Ty misses his brother.......he is enjoying his time at home alone! He will have a few days of alone time with Granny and PaPa next week.
